My name is Julian Hill. Some of my pseudonyms are Pay Day the Author and A.G. Classic. A. G. stands for Authentic Game, All Gravy and Almost but not Absolutely Guaranteed. I've been writing since the age of 15 years old. I got my start as a rapper at 15 in the Los Angeles area of California when my family relocated from Washington, DC. Within a year and a half I moved back to DC and continued writing music (rap and R&B) and poetry. Near the age of 18 I began writing Several Shadows, my first book.
I am a native of Washington, DC but have moved around quite a lot throughout the United States. Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and Ohio were states I had residences in. I currently write books, music, poetry, movies, speeches, comedy sketches and more. I am deeply interested in developing comics and graphic novels for characters and storylines I created within the last 3 years. This is for not only for super heroes but mainly what I call the "Global Plus-Size Community" (GPSC).
I am 41 years old now which gives me 26 years of writing experience in January. I have a mental illness called schizoaffective disorder, which are part symptoms of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. My writing has taken different directions due to my illness. There are things that appear real that are not necessarily real in your reality. A lot of music (the street raps) portray much paranoia and suffering because that's what I actually experienced at the time. So music is my most creative outlet. I take the good with the bad.
I have composed more than 750 books, 500 music albums, 156 poetry albums and 2 movies. The 2 films are The BBW (Big & Beautiful Women) Handbook and Official Players. My creative works increase more by the day. I write heavily and perhaps it is due to my illness. I've been known to write 10 poems, 6 songs and write in 4 to 5 books all in one day. So you can see for yourself how my material accumulates quickly.
My illness recently had strange effects on me and my family. At a time I was off my medications I became disruptive to my household and was later arrested. I spent 11 months and 4 days at Fayette County Jail in Fayetteville, Georgia. While there I constructed a whole lot of material. Over time my health began to improve with the right medications. I always believed in God and His Son, Jesus Christ, the Lord of my life. But especially when I got depressed, God allowed me to see more of what He has in store for me. This took on a new approach to my writing.
Currently I try to stay away from cursing in my material if I can avoid it. This is a contrast between the "me" now versus the "me" then. I won't record some previous music I have written. However I will record all my poetry albums one way or another. Still there is space for other artists to purchase and record my material through a new effort called the Julian Hill Workshop.
The workshop bearing my name will consist of musicians, artists of all kinds, cooks and chefs since I have developed recipes, investors that may want to learn more about my business concepts, writers from all genres and people that want to learn how they can write by using my model. The workshop has 12 major classes that last for a week in total. We will be touring the U.S. but may also consider international efforts. There is a cost attached to the workshop. It is meant for those with a serious interest only. Gospel Poetry is what I developed in jail although I had written Gospel music and Gospel Rap prior to incarceration. This style focuses attention on God and Jesus Christ, becoming whole through the work of Jesus Christ and sharing the message of His Resurrection. I expect Christians to like it. But I'm more concerned about those outside of the church whom the Body of Christ is called to spread the good news. They need to hear a word from God even though I'm not a minister nor do I pretend to be.
Gospel Poetry will be published in various book formats within the next few months. Also expect to see it in audio 5-CD set and DVD. I will be reciting this style of poetry at churches, nonprofit organizations, correctional institutions (if they let me), libraries, hospitals, mental health facilities and more. Hopefully my work will carry me around the world spreading the good news that Jesus lives.
I am married to my beautiful and loving wife of 12 years. We have 3 children together (all girls). I prefer to smoke a Black & Mild original wood tip cigar when I write. It helps me to stay in the moment and get a lot done. I understand there are those that don't smoke or care for smoke. I'm a smoker. I don't drink alcohol any longer although I write about it. It tends to have bad effects with my illness. So I stay away from it.
A great portion of my creative work is dedicated to the Global Plus-Size Community. I am a Married BBW Admirers . I specialize in writing material for BBWs & Admirers with a heavy attraction toward Real Curvy BBWs/Stacked BBWs/Stacked Chicks. I identify with other BBW Admirers that are attracted to Real Curvy Women. I married one in my opinion. So of course I understand.
I want the best for all people. I want us to be able to lift our heads, heal from past incidents and go forth to becoming even better. One of my characters, Sean "Silk" Hayworth of Silkland Series emphasizes the concept of progression. You can be good or do well. But when you stay still, you become stagnant. Your existence has little to no effect on others or maybe even yourself. Therefore it is important to learn more about life and the people around you every single day. Learn something. That way you become an improved version not only for today but tomorrow.
Although I'm a rapper and have been one since age 15, I do not perform rap concerts. I'm not that type of entertainer. I'll record it and distribute it. I perform all of my music for distinct private audiences where I feel comfortable.
I am overcoming my anxiety regarding being around other people than family. I've been like that since a child. But my illness increased the number of instances where I felt I was being followed and tracked. This caused paranoia. Going forward God is working in me and through me to accomplish His Plans. So that means I will go where He leads me. Enough said on that.
