Paul Angelle never really had a choice; he was “born” into entrepreneurship. Working full-time in his father’s Cajun restaurant from an early age, he learned the value of work through the lens of ownership. He never thought of himself as an employee as he proudly worked in the family business through college. That would never change. After graduating from the University of Louisiana in his hometown of Lafayette with degrees in Political Science, English, and Criminal Justice, he applied that same tenure to the profession of sales. He was a natural salesman, a gifted networker, and very successful across multiple industries for over 20 years. Along the way, in addition to starting his own media company (multiple magazines, sponsored sports tournaments, and a freelance sports photography business) and successfully running it for half a decade, he acquired a law degree from Loyola University in New Orleans… which eventually landed him a role as the first COO of a statewide, rapidly-growing estate planning law firm. Paul has a deep understanding of what makes a personal growth and motivational book resonate, he has literally read hundreds of them. His varied professional background has provided opportunities to work as an attorney, a sports photographer, an editor and a publisher. Paul's work has been featured in multiple local, state and national publications, including Sports Illustrated, The Times Picayune and many more. With deep Louisiana roots, he has been a political columnist, a sports writer and founder/publisher/editor of a regional sports publication. A former “undefeated” little league coach for his sons’ baseball teams, Paul enjoys cooking, fishing and writing. He’s a huge fan of his alma mater, and enjoys watching and supporting the Ragin’ Cajuns whenever he can. He’s a father of four who lives on a small farm in tiny Sunset, Louisiana with his beautiful wife Dawn and their horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats.
