Essential worker Patrick McKenna is a father of two and the author of You Are Not a Bad Parent, but You Can Be Better. His work is focused on helping readers improve their parenting skills and overcome common challenges. Key to his approach is the Enneagram, as well as a focus on honing the right mindset for effective parenting, giving his books a unique angle that set them apart from other parenting guides. With two young sons, Patrick is committed to being the best father he can possibly be and has spent a lot of time researching both parenting and the Enneagram, applying his knowledge to his own life, and analyzing what works. He first learned about personalities, numerology, and psychology from his own father, and this has been key to the parenting methods he uses and teaches today. Patrick has worked in radiology for over 25 years, but he has never been one to limit his experience. As well as regularly doing volunteer work with his family, he is also an entrepreneur, with experience in marketing and cryptocurrency. He has experience as a clinical instructor and is passionate about education. These seemingly diverse career experiences come together to give him his unique flair as a writer and his ability to share his expertise with others. Patrick lives with his wife and two sons. He is a self-confessed trivia nut and enjoys bowling, golf, and going to the gym. Always one to surprise, he is also passionate about metal detecting and is a lifelong comic book collector. He has a background in acting and voiceover work and is currently writing a screenplay.
