P.J.Berman grew up in Hertfordshire, England. Since then, after a brief but enjoyable period living in Plymouth, Devon, he has settled in the beautiful Welsh countryside of Carmarthenshire, along with his wife, his baby daughter and their crazy Labrador. Given where he has lived, he is probably one of the few people to be a fan of both Stevenage Football Club and the Scarlets. ​ As for the writing itself, that started back in about 2010 when he tried his hand at writing short stories. By 2013 he was ready to begin his first attempt at a novel, and in 2017 he completed Vengeance of Hope, which he published in 2018. Since then he has completed its sequel, King of the Republic, and he is now working on the third book in the series, War of Mercy.
