Oscar Joe Washington was raised in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan; He is a Millennial child who grew up in a multicultural family. His parents, originally from Kenya, migrated to the USA in the mid-1970s and settled in Michigan. In his mid-teens, the family moved to Los Angeles, California, where Oscar pursued a degree in science at a college. From a young age, Oscar had a fascination with the night sky, which was sparked by his father's passion for amateur astronomy. His father would often take him stargazing, and this led him to read books on the subject and attend seminars and workshops. This early exposure to astronomy and astrophysics played a significant role in shaping Oscar's interests and later inspired his writing. When he is not writing, Oscar enjoys stargazing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. He is passionate about science education and is committed to inspiring the next generation of science enthusiasts. He is a firm believer in the power of science and technology to make the world a better place.
