When I am not busy “exploring our backyard” and admiring the endless beauty of New Zealand with my family, I like to write and share other people’s personal stories of survival and triumphs. With 13 years of working in health care as a nurse under my belt, I have grown to connect with people I have worked with along the way. Witnessing their struggles, I have learned to appreciate how people survive and thrive even in their worst. My father, who was a survivor himself of a maritime disaster is an inspiration to my journey in writing and sharing these unbelievable and inspiring stories.
