Nathan Cassidy is a British author, comedian and podcaster. As a comedian he was nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2020 for his show 'Observational'. This show was the only live show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2020 to widespread critical acclaim 'A classic, structured, rollercoaster Fringe hour...star-in-waiting...he is untouchable.' ★★★★ The Times. His follow-up show 'Bumblebee' was nominated for three awards in 2021 including the Off West End Stage Awards. His 2022 show 'Hot Tub God' accompanies his novel 'Believing in God'. As a writer he is the winner of the Sir Michael Caine Award for new writing in theatre and has had several plays performed at theatres around the country. He has also written sketches for multiple TV comedy shows and is a regular on radio including Radio 5 Live and Times Radio. Nathan also presents the ongoing daily comedy/piano podcast Daily Notes and podcast Psycomedy about the Psychology of stand-up comedy. Guests in the latter have included Marcus Brigstocke, Shazia Mirza, Nick Helm and Simon Day.
