Nate Spillson is a distinguished technology leader and author, renowned for his deep expertise in domain-driven design, modern architecture, distributed computing, DevOps, automation, and continuous improvement. His technological journey began in childhood with programming on a Commodore 64, a passion that was later confirmed by a career test in middle school. Despite starting his academic career in Chemical Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Nate seamlessly integrated computing into his work, notably in his senior project, which combined chemical process automation with computing. Transitioning to software engineering in 2002, Nate has been at the forefront of adopting and implementing technological advancements. His most significant contributions have come through his role at Launch by NTT DATA (formerly Nexient), where he has been instrumental since 2014. Here, Nate has led delivery teams, expanded the Microsoft practice, and shared his insights through influential presentations and articles. His thought leadership culminated in the publication of his book, "Frictionless Enterprise: Shred Tech Baggage and Create Perpetual Momentum," inspired by his "Frictionless Pyramid" concept developed in 2022.
