Nanette Levin has been riding since she was five. She's always been drawn to the challenging cases. Her first horse was banned from Pony Club games because he was, well, not all there in the head. Since then, she's found a calling that keeps the horse in the conversation as she starts young horses under saddle and works with troubled client horses. After more than 30 years training customer horses, she feels compelled to share what she's learned. Part of this includes taking a stand against formula training approaches and offering readers easy to follow ideas to with work their horse's particular personality. As a former journalist and long-time freelance writer, she offers an unusual combination of both writing talent and horse savvy in her books to make the reading experience fun and useful.
