Nancy Flinchbaugh writes at as a spiritual practice, which led to writing three novels, Revelation in the Cave (2012), Revelation at the Labyrinth (2017), and Revelation in the Roots: Emerald Isle (2022). She also wrote a memoir, Letters from the Earth (2018) and Awakening: A Contemplative Primer on Learning to Sit (2020). Born in Dayton, Ohio, she graduated from Otterbein College and later attended the University of Texas at San Antonio for her masters degree. She completed a contemplative leadership course with the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation, leads contemplative retreats and groups and is a certified labyrinth facilitator with Veriditas, a labyrinth organization. Recently retired from a career in local government, she lives in Springfield, Ohio, with her husband, Steve, and cat, Emily Rose.
