Nalini Tranquim was born in Chandigarh India, a small town in the foothills of the Himalayas. Her Grandfather Qamar Jalalabadi was a Bollywood Lyricist, and Nalini grew up being taught by her father, the weaving together of words. Raised in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, Nalini spent her childhood preparing for a dream to become a world renowned singer/song-writer and pianist. After qualifying in Classical Piano through the Associated Board of the Royal College of Music, and at the tender age of eighteen, Nalini boarded a plane to London, leaving everything she knew and loved with a suitcase and a dream to pursue her music career. Nalini's book 'The Orange Hue' gives a beautiful yet brutal account of the twists and turns her life has taken, that has gotten her to where she is today. A wife, a mother, an entrepreneur, a Keynote Speaker and a Certified Life Coach who equips people to face the unexpected. She lives in Melbourne with her husband, her two sons and her cat Ms Marples.
