Mike Waterton is the founder of recruitment business Temp Network, author of several books on self-improvement and a motivational speaker. Mike has endured a turbulent journey to get to where he is today and finding his own key to success. He was raised in the South-East of England from a working class background and divorced parents. With little academic success, only one GCSE in English, a career path into what he has become today was never clear. Mike has had a colourful career path spanning multiple fields. To begin with he started out in home improvement, which then led to a career change into electronics. The real turning point in Mike’s professional life was in retail where he discovered his passion for coaching and developing others, which led to his final career change into recruitment. Following a multitude of roles within several different recruitment businesses, Mike chose to progress his career in recruitment with his own business on a smaller scale. Mike’s business, Temp Network, specialises in recruitment in the South-East of England that focuses on catering, commercial, construction, hospitality and industrial markets. Through this opportunity to meet and work with multiple people from all walks of life he began to realise his own potential to help the people around him to improve themselves. This led to the further study of self-improvement for Mike and he reaped the benefits that this brought and fuelled the desire to become an author and motivational speaker. With Mike’s interest in the Law of Attraction growing, he found the most profound way of explaining this way of thinking was to write his first book ‘Universal Orgasms: You Can Have What you Want’ which shows how the Law of Attraction has worked for him in his own life. Further books have followed which contain Mike’s own take on the Law of Attraction and how individuals can apply this to their life in order to achieve success. Through the use of social media sites, namely Twitter, Mike began to share his thoughts of wisdom in the form of his ‘#dailybread’ twitter feed which is ever growing in popularity. To compliment the books Mike has written he desires to become a motivational speaker so that his words can spread beyond the written pages. Alongside Mike’s own business and personal interests in self-improvement he also is the co-director of a fast growing Internet radio, Channel Radio. Partaking in the ‘Business Bunker’ show, which offers advice to new entrepreneurs to large and established businesses. Mike has also undergone Neuro-Linguistic Programming training alongside Paul McKenna and Richard Bandler, which helped improve Mike’s understanding of how your mental state responds to stimuli and how that can manifest into positive thoughts and a new way of thinking.
