Michelle Kadarusman is an internationally published children's author. She grew up in Melbourne, Australia, and has also lived in Indonesia and Canada. Awards, honors and nominations for her novels include the Governor General's Literary Awards, USBBY Outstanding International Books, Green Earth Book Awards, Environmental Award for Children's Literature, Freeman Book Awards, Malka Penn for Human Rights in Children's Literature, White Raven and Junior Library Guild selections. Her work has been translated into Spanish, German, Japanese and Turkish.
