Michelle Emerson is a former classroom teacher who now supports new and veteran teachers around the world through professional development workshops, videos, and resources. She taught second grade, fourth grade, and served as her school’s e-coach, helping teachers integrate educational technology in their instruction for seven years in Maryland before transitioning out of the classroom to develop educational resources and provide professional development to teachers full time. Today, Michelle produces educational videos for teachers on her YouTube channel, Pocketful of Primary, shares productivity tips on her podcast, Teaching to the TOP, and presents workshops at educational conferences and schools across the country. She co-authored The Edupreneur’s Sidehustle Handbook and has been featured as an educational specialist on the Today show twice. She believes all teachers should feel empowered by their career instead of overwhelmed and seeks to help educators master their profession and create a work-life balance through her tips and strategies. Michelle currently resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband, Billy, rambunctious dog, Ember, and two cats, Luna and Zora.
