Michele Wucker is a speaker and strategic advisor with more than three decades of experience in policy, media and think tank management. She is the author of YOU ARE WHAT YOU RISK: The New Art and Science of Navigating an Uncertain World (forthcoming April 2021) and the international bestseller THE GRAY RHINO: How to Recognize and Act on the Obvious Dangers We Ignore, published in April 2016 by St Martin’s Press. She also is the author of LOCKOUT: Why America Keeps Getting Immigration Wrong When Our Prosperity Depends on Getting It Right and WHY THE COCKS FIGHT: Dominicans, Haitians, and the Struggle for Hispaniola. She has been recognized as a 2009 Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and a 2007 Guggenheim Fellow, among other honors. Her past positions include Vice President for Studies at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs; President of the World Policy Institute; and Latin America Bureau Chief at International Financing Review.
