Author of The Sails and the Wind (CreateSpace, 2017), The Lions and the Wolves (KDP, 2019), The Power and Science of Floatation (IngramSpark, 2020), and The Hidden Temple: A Tale of Fear and Fearlessness (IngramSpark, 2020), Michael Taylor is a former editor and journalist. For his work in journalism, he was presented with the 1994 Pan-Asia Journalism Award by Citicorp, in association with the Columbia University in New York. His academic background consists of two Masters' degrees, one in arts, and the other in marketing from the University of Sydney. His Bachelor’s was in business-economics. He worked for more than 25 years in the corporate world handling the marketing of well-known brands for large conglomerates around the world. Today, he is an Australia-based entrepreneur, life & business coach, motivational speaker, and published book author. Apart from his entrepreneurial spirit and coaching knowledge, he focuses on what he treasures most—writing! From where his home is in Sydney, Australia, he frequently travels around the world, chasing new story ideas and book motifs to write about and share with his audience. That is what he has been doing since the age of 16—writing; and more importantly... reading. He writes to oblige the reader, not the writer in him. And he tries to anticipate what the readers have in mind and then engages himself as their advocate. He works hard to maintain his own distinctive style, viewpoint, and expression. He knows what to say to which audience, and makes sure he signals it accurately. He lets his words flow, like a river, and keeps on writing, no matter how bad those first few drafts may appear to him. He considers the abstention from writing as the worst nemesis to it. And what he cannot stand... is an untold story!
