Meridith Hankenson Alexander launched into her writing career literally by accident when a boulder came crashing down a mountain, leaving her youngest daughter fighting for her life. Although Meridith had received stellar grades in writing while in high school, the sharp criticism from an English honors professor at Georgetown intimidated her to such an extent that she abandoned her passion. She spent the next few decades raising three very talented children and running a talent agency for the performing arts. When her daughter was injured by the boulder, Meridith launched a Facebook page called Schuy is the Limit. To her surprise, the number of followers quickly escalated from a couple of hundred to many thousands. She was deluged with requests to put these inspiring posts into book format. Finally, in 2017, still acting as a 24/7 caregiver for her daughter, Meridith decided to do just that. Her first book THE SKY IS THE LIMIT is the collection of posts from February 19, 2016 through July 31, 2016 when she and her daughter finally returned to Tampa. Schuyler continues to make slow but steady progress. Her balance continues to be challenging but the hope is that eventually she will once again be able to stand and walk without assistance. Meridith continues to live in Tampa with her daughter Schuyler. Her son and older daughter have been loyal supporters throughout the entire process. The family's two loyal dachshunds can often be seen showering both Schuyler and Meridith (and the neighborhood ducks) with their "full tail in the air" level of affection. Meridith's podcast From Impossible to I'm Possible continues to gain popularity. Meridith has begun speaking all around the US and her live evening of inspiration can also be seen at theaters and as part of guest lecture series. Her passion is helping to share the powerful message about the unstoppable potential within each and every human being. She enjoys training others find their Greatness and using this Greatness to break through obstacles and barriers so that they can go on to achieve their own "I'm Possible."
