Overcoming obstacles is one of the most important life skills, especially for women. My stories are based in truth, but the characters and places have been changed for privacy purposes. However bleak the world or our lives look, we must keep our faith, and we must continue onward. I have been writing for many years, but am new to self publishing. I am happy to have the opportunity to use the Amazon platform for my stories. My first collection of short stories are listed as individual ebooks. However, I am working on longer material that I will upload all at once for a chapter book. The most important take-away that I want my readers to understand is to be able to empathize and at least understand why women make certain choices. Some people are quick to judge those less fortunate, especially where domestic abuse is concerned. The ability to intertwine story telling, real events, and faith is all thanks to God. Alhumdulillah.
