Matt Sykes is a sales trainer, author, podcast host and public speaker. He founded his company Psyko Ltd in 2014 and, following time spent running a franchise in the personal development sector, he founded his sales training business Salescadence, which he runs from offices in Norwich, UK. His vision is to convert the often unpopular, stereotypical image of salespeople into one where they are recognised for the value they bring to the customers they serve and are seen as a force for good. Matt has clocked up over twenty years of sales experience across a variety of industries and roles, ranging from global corporate B2B relationship management through to owner/start-up lead generation. It’s this far-reaching awareness and understanding of how people buy that allows Matt to guide sales professionals to help more people buy from them in a logical and repeatable way. His first book, Sales Glue, published in 2017, is an introduction to the world of performance psychology and sales, and has been described as the 'ultimate self-help book for Sales people' It's an ideal book for someone starting out in sales or someone with solid experience who is looking to enhance their performance with mindset and attitude strategies. Matt is happiest talking about sales and his podcast, ‘The Salescadence Podcast’, continues to grow in popularity with the sales community and is a source of valuable free content. His work takes him into various industry and manufacturing sectors. Much of his time is spent working with sales professionals in (but not limited to) the recruitment, packaging and finance sectors.
