Mary Ellis is a former middle-school math teacher who discovered she had a passion for words. She was written twenty-five novels including Amish fiction, historical romance, and suspense. Her first mystery, Midnight on the Mississippi, was a finalist for the RT Magazine's Reviewer's Choice Award and a finalist for the Daphne du Maurier Award. Sunset in Old Savannah was nominated for a Bookseller's Best Award and the Daphne du Maurier Award for 2017. Her latest mysteries are Hiding in Plain Sight and Sweet Taste of Revenge, books one and two from Marked for Retribution Mysteries. Mary's latest Amish novella appeared in The Amish Sweet Shop, released by Kensington. She enjoys gardening and bicycling and lives in Ohio with her husband and dog. or
