Markus Smith was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1976. Markus started discovering early when he was young psychological tricks and little persuasion techniques since his father Tony was a magician. But his real passion for psychology and persuasion grew up when he was 15 years old and started to learn more complex tricks by his father. In the following months Markus spent the major part of his days studying and trying to apply persuasion techniques, not only for magic tricks but also for everyday life. When, after those months of study, he reached his first results, Markus Smith’s motivation grew up allowing him to become what he is today. Markus Smith is today known for being one of the leading scholars of the social psychology of persuasion. His books are considered the most relevant theoretical-conceptual matrices in the sector of research on the cognitive and relational processes of interpersonal persuasion. Now, thanks to all the knowledge about persuasion, psychology and dark psychology that he was able to collect during these 39 years, Markus Smith is able to share everything he knows about this field. His books will be practical guides easy to understand, even to those who are taking their first steps in those fascinating subjects.
