Mark Ernest Pothier's work has received a Chicago Tribune/Nelson Algren Award and been long-listed for the William Faulkner - William Wisdom Short Story Prize. His stories have been published by Amazon's Kindle Singles, Audible Audiobooks, and in Connotation Press, The Santa Clara Review, and elsewhere. He grew up in rural Western Massachusetts, and for more than 30 years has lived in San Francisco with his wife and (now grown) kids; he earned his MFA at San Francisco State, and BA from the Great Books Program at St. John's College in Annapolis.
