Marilyn Woods is an author, educator, and artist. she is member of both a writing group and a drawing salon, an avid Duplicate Bridge layer and a Docent at The San Diego Museum of Art. She loves giving guided tours and speaking to community groups of all ages and interests - kindergarten kids to corporations. Her memoir, The Orange Woods - Seasons in the Country Artfully Lived - is full of her love of California, nature, family, art and a big black dog named Steamer. Her curated stories are portraits of an adventurous life generously sprinkled with tales of her Texas upbringing, vivid observations of urban living and the challenges of living alone for the first time in her entire life.
