After studies at New York University she produced programs for children and youth at TVE, the Public Spanish TV, alternating with simultaneous interpreting. Recruited to train interpreters at Stockholms Universitet, Gustafsson initiated a writing career, first in Swedish, with 3 spy fiction novels, a true-crime anthology, and a romance written under pseudonym with another author.
