Margaret Fisher is a dreamer from Brevard, NC who believes her degree in Cultural Anthropology with a concentration in Mythology/Folklore only added to her passion for writing fantasy novels and developing the complex world-building and cultures that fuel them. Having a life-long love of the genre, she writes primarily urban and contemporary fantasy but occasionally dabbles in sci-fantasy, horror, and magical realism. Her goal is to craft stories the reader believes could actually happen in our world. The Gates of Avaelon was her debut novel. Her other works include The Trials of Avaelon, Blood Dawn, The Book of Witches and her most recent novel The Storms of Sorrow. She is currently working on the third book in her Magical Blood series.
