Lisa Hare

Lisa Hare

Raised in the ranch country of western Nebraska, great-grand-daughter to the largest horse rancher supplying U.S. Cavalry mounts throughout WWI, Lisa grew up on horseback.
Later, she worked as a riding instructor in Southern California, and as an equine specialist for an equine-assisted psychotherapy practice on the Santee Sioux Indian reservation.
Hare's love for the equine, and her experience with them both personally and professionally, provide much of the horsepower behind her writing. In her signature blend of grit and grace, served up with a side of mysticism, Hare's storytelling offers readers a unique ride through the landscape of love, loss and redemption.
