Lisa Ferland is a mother, award-winning author, and former epidemiologist who lives in Sweden with her family. When she's not picking blueberries with her kids or hiking through the forest with them, she's busy writing children's books and working with fellow authors. Her children's book, We Walk Through the Forest, won First Place at the 2022 Pencraft Awards and has been featured on nature trail Story Walks around the US.
