Lisa Cortez is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in the early intervention population. She lives in San Diego, CA. The Adventures of Marie and LeeLee is her first book. It is a tribute to her best friend Marie who passed away from cancer. Lisa wrote this book to share the story of how their everyday activities were transformed into lasting memories through the beauty of their friendship. She hopes this book will bring smiles and joy to all who read it! Some of the sales from the book will be donated to a volunteer organization that Marie was involved in called New York Cares.
