Linda Crowder

Linda grew up in Loveland, Colorado, the youngest of six children. She moved with her parents to California when she was 16 and spent the next 16 years of her life in the Bay Area before moving back to Colorado and eventually to Wyoming.

Awards

"Justice for Katie" took top medalist honors in Mysteries in the 2015 New Apple Literary Services Award for Excellence in Independent Publishing.

"Ringo the Ghost Cat" was awarded first place in the Wyoming Writers, Inc. 2015 writing contest for Children's / Juvenile / Young Adult. She wrote the story for her great-niece, who asked her to write a story from the point of view of one of the author's many barn cats.

New Releases

"The Deadly Art of Love and Murder" is now available from Cozy Cat Press. Caribou King, owner of The Broken Antler fine art gallery in the tiny town of Coho Bay, Alaska, is thrust into a dangerous world when she discovers the body of an elderly woman. She's determined to find the answers, but somebody is willing to kill to keep her quiet.

"Paws & Claws" is now available from 307 Publishing. This is a very short story inspired by Linda's readers over the summer. It's written so adults will enjoy it but will also be appropriate for teens and pre-teens.

Coming Soon

Linda's started work on Book 6 in her popular Jake & Emma Mystery series. Emma's past may derail Jake's future as Natrona County Attorney as she follows her heart back to San Francisco.
