Linda C. Wright grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio and now resides in Melbourne, Florida but I will always be a Buckeye at heart. Before becoming a full time writer, I worked hard at being a normal adult by having a career in finance at a Fortune 500 company. I like to find fun in everything I come across in life. I love traveling, yoga, and most of all my cockapoo, Pepper. My latest novel is Hello Jaynie! When your internal thermostat goes on a permanent vacation! The inspiration for my first novel, One Clown Short came from my years working as a manager for a Fortune 500 company. My essays have since appeared in several editions of Chicken Soup For the Soul. My full length memoir is A Bittersweet Goodnight. It is the Bronze award winner of the 2019 Royal Palm Literary Award in the memoir category. A tragedy precedes the entrance of a stepmother. What happens next is the journey of a lifetime. A Bittersweet Goodnight has been named a Finalist in the memoir category in the 14th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards.
