Leslie Martin is a mom of 3 and a wilderness educator. She has a great passion for teaching others especially when it comes to survival skills and self-reliance. Her favorite hobbies are gardening, camping, and sharing her knowledge. Before she became a mother, she used to give seminars to the members of her community on the do’s and don’t of wilderness survival, gardening, and preparation for emergencies, particularly in an urban environment.
However, when she became a mother, she no longer had the time like she used to have for her to hold her seminars and share this invaluable knowledge. Since she could no longer share this knowledge in person, she started dedicating what free time she still had to putting together books in order to share this information with the masses.
In particular she has written a book on the essentials for wilderness and urban survival, Survival Guide For Beginners 2021: The Complete Beginner’s Guide To Urban and Wilderness Survival In 2021, as well as a book on vegetable gardening, The Beginner’s Vegetable Garden 2021 The Complete Beginners Guide To Vegetable Gardening in 2021.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, Leslie knew it was finally time to release these books because now more than ever, people will be seeking out the knowledge to become more self-sustainable since the shortcomings of our modern systems are becoming more and more apparent.
