Born in The United Kingdom October 18, 1972 Genres: Horror, Science Fiction, Humor and Comedy http://www.wall-of-shadows.com As far back as I can remember, I always had an active imagination. Throughout my life, it has served me with a welcome distraction from the mundane and tedious things that happen, like school and work etcetera. Admittedly, in my school days, I had a poor attitude towards anything educational. In English, I wrote stories about mutant creatures sucking the blood out of teachers instead of what I was supposed to write, and in art lessons (and geography and history... and so on) I would draw them. The result was poor grades, angry teachers and inevitably, my education suffered. To rectify this, I set off on a shoe-string budget to travel the world. Down the road in life, I see that maybe I could have done better with my writing, had I knuckled down and paid attention at school. On the other hand, I feel that the alternative style of life that I have experienced since, is a better grounding for the things I like to write. I prefer to think that the pathway I took, has enriched me in unusual ways and provided a curious skew of colour to the ink which I pour from pen to page on the quest to hone the craft of creative writing.
