Lee Zephyr was born June 22, 1991 in the small southeastern town of Corbin, Kentucky. He grew up here and in the surrounding areas of London, and Jackson County. When he was eight years old his mother was lost to a fatal seizure. This was when his father, little brother, and himself moved in with his grandma and grandpa who lived in the countryside. Here in an effort to help his brother and self cope with their loss, Lee used his imagination to come up with stories, characters, and imaginary worlds. Their grandparent's isolated home became a whole new multiverse of places and times to which the young boys would escape. As he got older Lee used his imagination and love of stories to begin writing. He started with poetry in middle school. In high school his writing began taking the form of short stories and even attempts at full novels. Here he also began acting in school plays and theater. These activities only further spurned his love for the arts and the power they had to create realms where people could forget whatever troubles they were facing in their daily life. This is why Lee decided to become an author and share his stories with the world. Much like stories of his youth helped him through a difficult chapter of his life, now he hopes his tales will provide a bit of magic and light in someone else's darkness. The Princess And The Squire is his first official novel release. Keep an eye out for his next projects The Calvin Calendar, a novella; and Blood and The Blues a mystery novel coming soon!
