I was an actress for many years in London, working at the National Theatre, Royal Court and television. I became tired of being other people and wanted to discover who I was - I'm still trying to find out - a lifetimes work. But one thing for sure, I've always wanted to write and now have the opportunity to do so. One of the major influences in my life was coming to Italy to live. I was alone, had little money, just two beloved cats and a back alley apartment in a Tuscan village. Little did I know the passion, adventure and intrigue that awaited. Which is what my book is about - "Down a Tuscan Alley". I have also written two children's book - "A Tale of Two Tuscan Cats", which has recently been translated into Italian. 'Two abandoned Cats with nowhere to go. Then along comes an English Human and finds them -first, Rosetta, a feral kitten hiding in the forest. Then Julie, domesticated but abandoned - wandering the alleyways desperate for a home . . .' "Tuscan Cats get into Mischief" is the sequel: 'Julie and Rosetta, now living in luxury with their English mamma and Italian father, know as babbo, go to a farmhouse in the summer to breath some fresh country air. But then along comes Spiritino, a rogue of a tom cat who introduces the girls to wine, stealing cakes and wild dancing in the cellar . . .'
