L.A. Di Paolo is a tri-lingual, Canadian-born Italian-American who lives in Milton, Vermont. By day, because of his background in science and business, he manages drug development projects. By night, he rides and writes, but his horse is not the source of his inspiration. Rather, the constant questions in his mind are; questions about evolution, nature, and the human condition. He started writing to explore these questions and their answers, first in student newspapers, then in a magazine which he authored and published, and now in this–his first novel and shorts. L.A. has had Forebodings, Book 1 of Conquerors of K'Tara, made into an audiobook by a highly talented voice actor, Mr. Adam R. Watson, who has also lent his voice to put to music a song L.A. wrote for one of the characters. "Lusk's Song" is available on SoundCloud and YouTube. Because he cannot both translate his own books and write the next ones of the series for his English readers, L.A. has run contests in Quebec and Italian universities to find translators to perform the translations while he, himself, has taken care of the editing to ensure the translations are faithful to his original work. Needless to say, though his approach allows him to progress all these activities, more or less in parallel, it does also keep him "out of trouble" at night and on weekends. For more about L.A.
