Kyra Robinov is a Manhattan-based writer who is passionate about the arts and the environment. Working in many genres—fiction, nonfiction, musical theatre, and children’s literature—she draws much of her inspiration from the incredible stories she heard growing up about her family’s remarkable experiences. Her themes range from persecution and emigration to perseverance and resilience. ​Kyra’s desire for a better world is reflected in the way her subjects face up to the challenges presented by their circumstances. Her love of the arts and storytelling originated in ballet and drama, and often, but not always, relates to her Russian Jewish heritage.
