A long time resident of San Francisco, California. Kurt Bransford-Young has always enjoyed the artistic assembly of words and ideas then formed into a collection of pages. "I love to write what I see, feel, and hear." Over the years Kurt has grown into his muse as an artist being a passionate and professional DJ for over 33 1/3 years and small business owner teaching both children and adults the art of DJ Skills. Kurt aka DJ Lamont has stepped from behind the turntables and expresses himself as a writer. Being challenged with dyslexia and a learning learning disability, for many years Kurt believed he did not have the ability to be a great writer. He overcame his perception of defeat and kept writing. "Writing for me now is a love affair, the words and ideas come to me as natural as breathing". Kurt believes, to turn vision into fruition is wonderful way to live. Cooking in his kitchen with his husband Christopher is yet another great passion of Kurt's along with capturing life through the lens of his camera. A brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor, and friend, Kurt has come to realized that creativity and expression is his path to joy, fulfillment, and excitement.
