Kristen Wetherell

"Writing is a God-given means to teach truth from the Bible and to apply the wonderful gospel to all areas of life. The greatest Story ever told is the one about Jesus Christ." Kristen's desire is to help women love Christ, learn the Bible, and live the gospel. And not only women, but any person who wants to know more about how the gospel applies to every corner of life. Her years of walking through chronic pain and Lyme disease especially inform her writing, as seen in her first book, "Hope When It Hurts: Biblical Reflections to Help You Grasp God's Purpose in Your Suffering" (The Good Book Company, April 2017). Kristen and her husband, Brad, live in Chicagoland with their daughter and are members at The Orchard Itasca. In addition to teaching at her church, Kristen speaks at conferences and retreats, and regularly writes for The Gospel Coalition, Unlocking the Bible, Revive Our Hearts, and Desiring God.
