Having grown up on a homestead in the countryside of Kent in the UK, Kris Rowsan is an avid mushroom cultivator with over a decade of experience. After receiving a mushroom growing kit for his 16th birthday, he was hooked on the excitement of being able to watch his mushrooms grow from their mycelium into their fully fledged fruiting bodies within a matter of days. He has since dedicated a great amount of time to learning all things mushrooms. Rowsan has always been keen to share his wealth of knowledge and inspire others, so when he realized he could combine this knowledge with his other great passion of writing, it was a no brainer to create a guide for helping the at-home mushroom grower succeed.
