Kit Chellel is a reporter at Bloomberg and features writer for Businessweek magazine, covering subjects as diverse as sports gambling, financial scandals and state-sponsored espionage. His features have won numerous international awards, including the Gerald Loeb award for feature writing; the Overseas Press Club of America's Morton Frank Award; the Quill Award from the Melbourne Press Club, and a feature reporting prize from the New York Press Club. Chellel started his career at a local newspaper in his hometown in southeast England, moved into business journalism at a trade publication in London, and then spent seven years as a court reporter for Bloomberg, before joining the news agency’s specialist investigations team as a roving feature writer. His investigative work has taken him to Nigeria, Liberia, Egypt and Ukraine. He lives in West London, has three children, and he continues to enjoy tennis despite the lack of any noticeable improvement during thirty years of practice.
