Kevin St. Jarre earned his MFA in Creative Writing, with a concentration in Popular Fiction, from University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast program. He has studied at the Norman Mailer Writers Center on Cape Cod with Sigrid Nunez and David Black, attended La Muse Writers Retreat in southern France, and spent a week at Hewnoaks. He has worked as a teacher, a professor, a newspaper reporter, an international corporate consultant, and led a combat intelligence team in the first Gulf War. He penned a series of original action thrillers for Berkley Books, his most recent novels are published by Encircle Publications, his Pushcart-nominated short fiction has appeared in journals such as Story and Solstice Literary Magazine, and he is a member of International Thriller Writers.
