I was born in a leprosy colony in Zambia and mauled by a lion at the age of three (this is true!) and this has led to an aversion for cats and an excuse why i am so poor at baseball. I was educated in theater in Canada and have performed in Canada, Europe and Japan. I am the father of two professional athletes. Our family shares a love of retro cars, house design and Great Danes. My website https://www.kfarranauthor.com/ has all my books plus some poetry, the occasional rant and also some recipes. (Usually for desserts.) My books are not of any one genre, nor are they in a series, though the themes may be linked. I like to write where the wind takes me. If I am taken by a clip of music, a news article or scene, I chase it to see where my imagination takes me. My wife of 38 years is the sounding board (bored), I am a morning person and take my first break when she is waking up and come into our bedroom blathering with excitement for a new idea I've had. It is a trying life for her and she is very cherished. If you read my book, The Bench, you will certainly see her there.
