Ken Osmond is a former dancer, model, and actor best known for his portrayal of the unctuous truant Eddie Haskell from the TV show Leave it to Beaver. After the show’s cancellation in 1963, Osmond found himself hopelessly typecast, and was unable to secure steady employment as an actor. He had a string of jobs: helicopter pilot, studio prop-maker, before settling on a career with LAPD. The victim of a horrific shooting which nearly claimed his life, Osmond retired from the force in the early eighties. He soon found himself reprising his role in the television revival show, The New Leave it to Beaver, where Osmond’s own sons, Eric and Christian acted alongside of their famous father. Today, Ken Osmond spends his time supporting our veterans and volunteering for the American Legion.
