Once I ruled the skies. My scales hardened against any weapons that mortals could bring to bear. Empires bowed to my might, and a single fiery breath from my tooth-filled maw could destroy armies. I was a god… but even divinity gets boring after a while, and so I went to sleep. I awoke in a human form. Soft, squishy, and way too round for my own comfort. Gone were my scales and breath, and the magic that once fed my existence was now a trickle. I had become that over which I once ruled… a human. But at least it wasn't boring. Now I put that final vestige of my once majestic nature to work creating stories for other humans to enjoy. To feed their imaginations and let them experience the glory I once lived.
