Kay Moser is a native of historic Nacogdoches, Texas, deep in the piney woods of east Texas. Her childhood days were spent "playing make believe" under the magnolia trees or "putting on plays" utilizing the wide front verandah as a stage. Story telling was a major form of entertainment in both the black and white cultures that surrounded her. Naturally enough, when Kay began to write her own stories, she turned to the settings, people and social interactions she knew best. Always fascinated by history, particularly social history and what we can learn from those who have lived before us, Kay chooses to interweave a contemporary plot with a historical plot in many of her novels. Her books depict the universal psychological and spiritual journeys that most people take at some point in their lives. She intentionally avoids portraying graphic violence or sexuality (preferring to leave room for the reader's imagination in those areas) and avoids profane or vulgar language. Kay Moser has a website at www.kaymoser.com which includes specific information about her novels and speaking topics as well as a store where readers can order her books when they are out of stock from other sources. Her website also includes discussion questions and introductory materials for each of her novels that make it easy for book clubs to discuss her novels. Kay is available to discuss a novel with a book club via telephone. Please e-mail her at kay@kaymoser.com for further information. You can also contact Kay through Facebook.
