Kathleen Johnson—affectionately known as Scripture Girl—is an author, speaker, and Bible teacher whose passion is helping ordinary believers encounter the extraordinary power of God’s Word and Spirit. Her own journey was marked by seasons of chronic pain, betrayal, and paralyzing fear—until she discovered the life-changing impact of daily surrender and Spirit-led disciplines like Scripture memory, meditation, fasting, and prayer. What began as a desperate reach for God set off a chain reaction of freedom, healing, and intimacy with Him. That pursuit ultimately led to a miraculous divine healing doctors had declared impossible. Kathleen now carries a message that is both timeless and urgent: the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us (Romans 8:11), ready to transform spirit, soul, and body. Her writing and teaching invite believers to stop striving in their own strength and instead walk in the power of the Holy Spirit—where fear gives way to peace, despair to hope, and weakness to strength. She is the author of Healed to Heal, a powerful call to rediscover God’s miracle-working power through testimonies past and present, as well as other titles including Scripture Girl, Something to Forgive, Spirit Prayer, and Kingdom Authority. More books are on the way, including Touching Jesus (on divine healing) and Spirit Rules (on living by the Spirit). Through books, podcasts, and live speaking engagements, Kathleen equips believers to rise up and claim the fullness of their inheritance in Christ—freedom, joy, healing, and Kingdom authority. Her mission is not just to inspire but to equip, helping others discover that abundant, Spirit-filled life is not for the few—it is for all who believe. Kathleen lives in Franklin, Tennessee, with her husband Paul, where together they enjoy a blended family of four children. When she isn’t writing or speaking, she loves playing piano, painting, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
