Kat Carrington published her first book, Maggie's Match, after retiring to rural South Carolina with her husband of twenty-five years. Her children and grandchildren are her greatest pride and joy. She comes from a strongly military family, with a daughter and two grandchildren currently in the Air Force, making military issues extremely important to her. Throughout her life, her creative spirit constantly reared its head, whether through art, music, cooking, or words. She loved to read from the time she learned how and was thrilled to write her first book and discover that people actually enjoyed reading it. Blushing Books changed her life and gave her the creative outlet she had always craved. Kat's books come from her imagination, certainly, but with all her life experiences as inspiration. Whether she writes about small town life in southern Indiana, gardening, cooking and baking, or horseback riding, her characters all share her own history. The steamy and sexy side of the stories come from her fertile imagination...or do they? There are now four books in the Strong Man's Hand series with more to come. Kat is also the author of the contemporary Western series, Dusty Dreams Ranch and will debut a brand new series, Dirty Politics, with book one, Crash and Burn, coming soon.
