First-time author, Karin was born in Germany prior to WW-2 and experienced war from a child's perspective, which is what she partly describes in her book, JASMIN. She worked in the Hotel business there but was advised to move to England to learn English, which she did in the mid 50's. She works in a Five-Star Hotel and improves her knowledge of English and English culture which she also includes in this romantic coming of age story.Karin worked also as a florist, taught ballroom dancing and took flying lessons in a Cesna. Karin later moved to Canada where she became a book-keeper and married her husband and now lives in rural Ontario where she has a large Verse Garden. Karin is also working on her 2nd. novel.
