His works have won the 2010 Royal Palm Literary Award, racked up 5 Splatterpunk Award nominations and been optioned for film/screenplay. He is the owner of The Evil Cookie Publishing and spends most of his time hand drawing cover art and creating gory books to add to the The Evil Cookie catalog.
