K. J. Alexander is originally from Elk Grove, California, but has lived many places since then. From growing up in a trailer park to finding herself among upper-class Texans, K. J. Alexander has lived an adventure and will not be clipping her wings anytime soon. When she's in the middle of one of her "writing storms," her background music of choice is anything from Breaking Benjamin to Led Zeppelin. If you asked her what her three favorite things in the whole world are, she'd have to say sushi, the color yellow, and rock 'n' roll -frozen cherries coming in at a solid #4. She currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas with her poodle, Xada (also known as her eternal bodyguard and the announcer of every ringing doorbell).
